Keeping with the “Best” theme we’ve been running on for a while here at the Viking Youth, we’ve won “Best Podcast in Chicago” for the Chicago Readers “Best Of Chicago Readers Poll”!!!

We won “Best Podcast in Chicago” at the NewCity in 2005 and it’s great to know we’ve still got it winning with the “>Chicago Reader in 2008. Thanks to everyone who voted for us and continues to listen and support us after 3 and a half years as Chicago’s Best!!!

Some of you may remember the wonderful Uncle Chucky Cosimano whom we interviewed back in the early days of the VYPH. Uncle Chucky is an island in the strip mall of humanity and a latter day saint of the interminably sinful. A true Viking if there ever was one.

Well, our most beloved Psionic Super Villain has finally metered out a proper means of dealing with one of the truly rapacious issues facing this modern, western world… vegetarianism.
